Recommended Use
The Model 3300 is designed for swinging doors for minimum/medium security applications. This trim lock provides slam-locking and remote, electrical operation. The Model 3300 is built with the same action as the Model 6000 Series, but fits in a standard 2" hollow metal frame, and accepts standard builders hardware cylinders.

Operation
Remote electric operation is performed by a momentary switch. All 3300 Serious locks are supplied with a constant-duty 24VDC solenoid. Door unlocks when energized, and the lock kicks the door open slightly. Lock can be manually unlocked with a key at door. Lock accepts standard builders hardware mortise cylinders keyed on one side (-1 designation) or both sides (-2 designation.) Deadlatch bar retracts when solenoid is energized which opens door, and extends when solenoid is de-energized, making the lock ready accept and lock the door.
A Non-electical version is also available where a secure quality lock is required. This version of the 3300 unlocks by key, and automatically locks upon closing. Keyed one side (-1 designation) or both sides (-2 designation.)

Architectural Specifications
Lock case to be not over 10"H x 2"W x 6"D in size. Made of stainless steel plate not less than 10 gauge. Lock to fit within the door strike attached with five tamper-proof security bolts.

The lock shall operate by means of an electrical solenoid. The solenoid is equipped with an efficient two-coil design with a special switch and an internally-mounted surge protector. As the actuating coil pulls the load in, it is automaticall switched out of the circuit, leaving a low current drain coil to hold the load into the sealed position. Solenoid is designed continuous duty on DC power only.

Lock to provide the following functions:
A. Automatic mechanical deadlocking of door upon closing
B. Electic push-button unlocking
C. Key unlocking by manual operations. When unlocked by key, door shall be relocked when key is removed when door is closed
D. Electrical solenoid operations develops a pull of not less than 16 pounds
E. When a force of 150 pounds is applied against the lock, the lock will still open

Installation
